Advantages: Wonderfully scented flowers Disadvantages: Deciduous ones look dead in winter
...alluring than the scent of honeysuckle wafting round your garden after a summer shower? A drop of rain always seem to make the scent more pronounced. Not reason enough in itself to wish for rain, of course – we had plenty of that last year.
Now many plants have the reputation of being difficult to grow, although this is often more attributable to myth that fact. But even if the colour of your fingers is anything but green, you simply cannot ... ...a large area of shrubs, honeysuckle can be planted among them, without support, and it will spread over the ground through the other plants.

honey suckle is a beautiful plant with a slightly decieving name, it doesnt actually have anything to do with honey at all This plant is a great plant for any garden and also grows very well in the wild, it is a woody plant that climbs so will probably need some support by it so it is best to plant it near to a shed or fencing as the wind will damage it as it gets bigger else.
The flowers on this plant are not what i would call a prity flour but ... ...circular center to the flower with lots of spindly thin petals attached.
This plant can also be found in the wild growing in woods and hedges,
It flowers from june through to october, depending on the plant you have brought will determine the colour as this is available in a few colours now although the most common is still yellow ...

Advantages: perfume and durability Disadvantages: nothing
Honeysuckle ( Lonicera )are members of the viburnum family and are one of the top five climbers we can grow in the UK in my view. The plant is durable because it can tolerate a fairly wide range of soils both fertile and poor , sandy or clay.
Not only that but it is hardy ,it soaks up the worst of what winter can throw at it and always comes back the next year stronger than ever.
But the highlight for me is the perfume . The variety I grow is called ... ...would reccommend Beligica as THE honeysuckle variety it really won't let you down.
Honeysuckles do need support to climb through . Why not try letting it grow through another climber such as russian vine or through conifers . If not simply erect chicken wire or posts and twine or attach to a secure wall.
One of the few potential problems with Honeysuckle is that they can on occasion require prorection from aphids. The tender young growth in spring ...

Advantages: ONLY NEED TO USE A SMALL AMOUNT EACH TIME Disadvantages: NONE
...Well today whilst going through the usual shopping list with my husband Tom before he went to do the usual shopping we worked out what we needed, you know the usual, bread, milk and then and on his way out the door I told him don't forget the air freshener I really do like to have a tin handy around the house, and I remember the last bottle being thrown away and thinking oh no.
So anyway on his return he put the rest of the shopping away and then came and showed me the one he had chosen, its by Haze 2 in 1 and the scent is green apple and honeysuckle, and I have to tell you its a really soft smell, not knockout over powering like some air fresheners can be.
It comes in a green tin which is a round cylinder with the word Haze displayed in a white background, also on the front there is a little advert to show that it will soon...

Advantages: value for money, smell, always avalible. Disadvantages: None
...Air fresheners have been a big part in my cleaning accessories cupboard for a long time now and never have I tried any item of the Haze range. I first picked up my air freshener, as it was special offer at my local Asda store.
The freshener is realesed by pressing a plastic button on the top of the container.Keep your finger on the button for aprox 3 seconds and that should realese enough.
The Haze product I use most often is the Haze 2 in 1 Green apple and Honeysuckle, which smells great. It smells practically of Apple and not too over powering. The smell lasts for about 30minutes, which is about average for a canned air freshener.
This product can be bought between £1.00 to £1.70p depending on where you shop. I think its great value for money, as it’s a brilliant item to have if like have and me you house for sale...

Advantages: You control the fragrance level. Disadvantages: Cant use if you have Aquarium.
...with Lavender and Camomile, give it a try I thought, when I read on the back it contained 25% Essential Oils that made my mind up.
I bought the pack which contained one of the Plug In units and a refill which contained 25 mls as do all the refills for this product.
You can get an array of fragrances for the diffusers,
Anti Tobacco
Green Apple and Honeysuckle
White flowers
Tropical shores
Vanilla and Orchid which is lovely as well, I use one of those downstairs.
The Plug in Unit itself is white and has the three pins for you to plug it in, there is a gap where you put the bottle in and once pushed up it clicks into place, it must be put in so that the unit is upright, and it is small enough not to be noticed by a casual glance, once plugged in the fragrance is given off by heat being produced and comes through an opening...
