Manufacturer's product description

Carole Barber has come to Paris, with its rain-slick slate roofs and winding streets, to work on her novel - and to find herself after a lifetime in the spotlight. A legend of film and stage, Carole has set a standard of beauty and grace, devoting herself to her family and causes around the world. But on this cool November evening, as her taxi speeds into a tunnel just past the Louvre, a fiery instant of terror shatters hundreds of lives - and leaves Carole alone, unconscious and unidentified in a Paris emergency room. At the Ritz, they wonder where their famous, incognito guest has gone. From California to London, Carole's friends and family begin to make inquiries. Then comes a moment of shock as they realize that Carole is in a hospital far from home, fighting for her life.In the days that follow, the paparazzi swarm. A mysterious stranger, a man famous in his own realm, quietly visits the hospital to see the woman he once loved and never forgot. Carole's two grown children rush to her bedside, waiting and praying - until the miraculous begins to happen...But as a woman whom the whole world knows slowly awakens, she knows nothing of herself.

Danielle Steel -the Face behind the Story
Review of Danielle Steel by  yummy.mummy

Advantages: over 70 amazing books to peruse and enjoy
Disadvantages: none to mind

...Danielle Steel was born August 14th 1947 in New York City and was named Danielle Fernande Dominique Schuelein-Steel by her parents John Schulein Steel and Norma da Cāmara Stone Reis, John was a descendant of the founders of Lowenbrau beer and Norma was the daughter of a Portuguese diplomat. She was an only child and until she was seven she spent most of her time living in France, Her parents divorced when she was 7 and her father then took her to live with him in New York city. Here she was able to experience how the rich and famous lived, as her father was known to throw many lavish dinner parties that she was around to witness. His Bright Light by Danielle Steel
Review of Bittersweet - Danielle Steel by  sam123

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: SAD

...His Bright Light by Danielle Steel was voted New York Times Best-seller, and I can see why, this book is a mother’s story about her son, it is a sad book where Danielle Steel describes her son’s s life. She re-calls his nineteen years, his battles throughout his life and at the end the death of her son. She describes a illness from which her son suffered and highlights the effect it had on him, and in doing so you get the feeling she wants other’s to discuss their problems as well. The best way to describe this book is that in writing about her son, she hopes to help other’s. He suffered from a mental illness, which cost him his life. Danielle Steel’s son had all of help around him such as attendants who were paid to look after him twenty four hours a day, yet he still attempted and succeeded... Read review

Another Danielle Steel masterpiece
Review of The Klone and I - Danielle Steel by  MRSWOODY

Advantages: Damn good read
Disadvantages: None

...decision. It involves a lot of funny situations, some interesting bedroom antics and a lot of soul seerching. I've read a lot of Danielle Steel's book in the past and had a break of about six months. I picked this one up in a second hand shop and was glad that I did. As a busy mother of two I find it hard to find the time to read but I couldn't put this one down. It's funny, sexy, down-to-earth, and will have you wanting to read more of her books. I read this one in about five days, which for me is a record. I loved it so much that I told all my friends about it. If you like Danielle Steel you must read this one, if you've never read any of her books try this one first, you'll want to read more.... Read review
