Advantages: A totally new approach to this type of game
Disadvantages: The sound effects and music isn't too great

You will be very thankful for the variety of weapons as different weapons suit different situations; this will give you a tactical edge over the enemy. Conflict Desert Storm also gives you the option of being able to swap weapons with you’re squad during missions. You can also take their weapons after their dead but if they do die you can revive them with a medkit from you’re inventory. However, this option is only available for a short amount of time, once their gone beyond a certain point their dead and there’s nothing you can do about it. Advantages: Very atmospheric, intuitive missions and surprisingly addictive
Disadvantages: Frustrating controls and fairly average visuals

...particularly atmospheric, and the sounds of gunfire and explosions around you are very reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan for example. The music is very good, and while you can use custom soundtracks I kept the default music playing instead. At first glance, it's probably fair to say that Conflict Desert Storm is not one of the most graphically impressive games you'll ever see. Sure, there are nice touches and effects here and there but for the most part the game certainly looks a little dated. But it doesn't matter as, for a nice change, this is a game that is a triumph of substance over style. Objects don't need to be whizzing past your head at 300mph and there doesn't need to be copious amounts of impressive lighting effects for a game to be worth playing. Advantages: Simple! A great no-brainer game.
Disadvantages: No online multiplayer modes.

...' play the levels so you don't have to play through sequentially. CONS: * No online modes, it would have been nice to have two players online. Bottom line! It's Simple and its great. If your not really in the mood for hardcore gaming action or you've only got 5 minutes to spare then this is a great game to just chill. Personally I prefer this game over Geometry Wars as it provides loads more variety. NOTE: If your looking to get either Mutant Storm or Geometry Wars and you already have Project Gothem Racing 3 then get Mutant Storm.
