Hoover DYN8164D

Have had this machine for 8 months and am currently waiting for a second replacement pump... phoned in the fault today and will have to wait 8 days for an engineer to come out to it. Dunno if its just because I am the Unluckiest person in the world or this is just a one off dodgy machine but it is driving me mad! The machine has a 1600 rpm spin speed which is great but the noise of this sounds like a helicopter landing in the house. It doesnt rinse very well Not sure if the replacement pump is to blame but even after a wash without detergent washing has a tendency to smell of stagnant water or ... more

I personally loved this product. I have always had an outdated washing unit that was extremely loud. This machine is quiet, it runs smooth and it is much more energy efficient than my previous machine. I have the machine in the bathroom which is a very inconvenient location due to the layout of my house. Previously my family could't even eat a meal while the washing machine was running due to the noise. However this product is so quiet you hardly even notice it. I also enjoy the performance, I have had no issues with any of my washing loads and that was another major problem with my last unit ... more
