This is powerful cleaner for deep and thorough washing and drying of carpets, tiles, upholstery and vinyl floors. It has 5 rotating brushes which clean and wash and a 2.5 litre tank capacity. It says that is cleans tile and vinyl floors to a perfect finish but I used it on my kitchen floor and it removed the sealent from in-between the tiles.
Now the manufactors handbook says that it has an easy empty tank, but it's so fiddley. You have to lay the rest of the machine down to get the dirty tank out and if there is any fluid anywhere other than that tank it leaks a little bit, so your best bet is to empty it outside. But it is easy to use, unless you are me and have trouble pushing the bulky machine around. The buttons to get started and stopped are easy to use and nearly all on the handle.
I have used mine to
clean carpets, stairs (the hose is very flexible but the whole machine is heavy to lift up and down the stairs when full) and my husband has cleaned the car with it aswell. I haven't used it to clean upholstery so I can't tell you what that function is like but it does a lot of floor space for just one tank load and it dries everything very quickly.

It is about the same size as a Dyson Animal but bulkier and heavier than most vacuum
cleaners.
I do recommend this machine but my hose split after two years so keep an eye out for that, but I will say be careful lifting it if you're small like me....I have quite a few friends who own the brush 'n' wash and they have NEVER had any problems. The only other thing that I will mention is that it is a noisy machine, don't try to use once everyone has gone to bed.
