Hoover HDC6

Advantages: Large Front Loading Door, Quiet operation, great price
Disadvantages: Small vent hose

Overall, the Hoover HDV6 tumble dryer has proven a winner in our home for several reasons. First, we have a large family. This easily holds a 6kg load and even extra large loads are quite manageable. Even with a heavy load of jeans, we have never used the maximum time setting or the high heat. It seems to manage quite well at 70-90 minutes no matter what on a low setting. The best deal I found was out of my Littlewoods (LX) catallogue; £249.99 - I haven't got to start paying for it until June this year AND I can pay for it monthly at no extra cost. The Hoover HDC6 is a condenser type machine. We have a small kitchen so we have to keep the tumble dryer in our garage. ...but as well as cleaning the filter you have to empty the water container after only about three wash loads and the condenser at least every month, but I would say they are all easy to do. It takes a maximum load of 6 kg and has two heat settings. It has a pre-ironing setting which provides a conditioning and anti crease function.
