I have had much fancier washing machines in the past especially during my early to mid -twenties 'yuppy period'. I had machines with all sorts of electronic wizardry- electronic displays, ... ...What I like about my Hoover HNF7127, is its outward simplicity - the lack of electronic display, fiddly buttons and flashing lights. The robust and simple layout of the controls - relatively robust big buttons and dials that do not feel as if they are about to fall off or snap should you twist them just that little bit too quickly. Operating the machine is 'idiot proof' even I could understand it straight away - it lends itself to the washing 'philistines' ...
