...we ended up on this Hoover brand and i have to say it really has fulfilled all our washing needs. First of all most importantly it can handle a good 6kg to 7kg of washing, which is great where my family is concerned! It doesn't have a fancy LCD display which is actualy a good thing as the controls are less likely to go wrong because you've got less technical things to deal with, it also features a handy balancing mechanism which stops it from vibrating ...

Sorry Mr Hoover but I have really nothing good to say about this washer/dryer. We bought ours in December because it sounded like it could handle large loads and we thought our tumble dryer would be the next appliance to go so it seemed sensible to get a washer/dryer at the time.
