Hoover HPD 100 X

Advantages: Looks nice, thats about it.
Disadvantages: annoying vibration, rubbish grill, red hot controls.

...Bought this oven as part of a package knowing the Hoover brand but never really trying the product. The appearance of the product is nice, well presented stainless steal single oven with grill. Fitting the item wasn't a problem either, sizes were standard e.t.c, simple screw fits and got it wired in. The problems started when we started to use the oven, an enoying vibration started off the oven and slowley (10 mins) turned into a very loud vibration that you had to shout over. I have had Hoover out to this oven 3 times within 3 months of use to sort the same problem and it still isn't sorted. The noise goes for about 1 day then its back. The service from Hoover is good they are happy to help, but I'm sure they are having plenty of problems with this oven. Secondly the Grill will only Grill food when it is neally touching... Advantages: BAGS CAN EASILY BE OBTAINED,LONG LASTING IF REPAIRS ARE CARRIED OUT
Disadvantages: ITS ALL TO AVERAGE!!!

...noticed when compared to a new one. Bags. Bags can be obtained cheaply and easily from any good Hoover specialist. I recently bought a service pack, which includes 8 bags, a filter and a belt for an unbelievably cheap price of £1.00 (usally £9.99 in Comet). The bags are easily fitted and removed literally a 10 second job. Weight. This Hoover is not the heaviest of Hoovers nor is it the lightest so it would score 5/5 here. Someone young and able can quite easily drag it up the stairs but for those old or unfit a lighter Hoover would be required. Ease of use In general this Hoover is very easily used and would need some of the stupidest people to actually make use of the user guide. ...Before i start this review i have a very odd interest in vacuum cleaners which i have had since i was a child & i was a cleaner for many years before i had to give up work. i have owned & used many vacuum cleaners in my time. The reason i have decided to review such an old product is because i despair of modern vacuum cleaners. most of them either make claims they cannot live up to or they work great for three weeks then break down. there are several reliable makes of vacuum cleaners on the market but they start at prices of over £100. i have beeen stung so many times by dud's that i very seldom often bother with the new ones.
