Hoover HW6160M

My washing machine died 3 years ago and ive just bought a new one hip hip hooray!!!. My new machine arrived packed and sparkling and was installed and had a load in within ten minutes. This is an excellent machine at only 359.99, its a tumble dryer and washing machine in one. It can wash up to 6kgs and dry 4 which is a slight disadvantage as you have to dry in two loads rather than all in one. Also if you let the clothes get too dry they are impossible to iron so its worth taking them out whilst a tiny bit damp. I purchased this machine about a year ago now and have had 3 problems with it, the first problem was the drum lifters (paddles/little plastic things that beat your clothes) came loose and had to be screwed back into place, the 2nd problem was the dryer timer knob kept on getting stuck just before the end of the drying cycle, so as I found out from the next electricity bill i recieved at a whopping £120 for the month this all because i had gone out to work and left the machine to do its buisness, when i got home i found the machine roasting my clothes to ash. the third problem is the motor belt ... more

having just used my new washer dryer I can honestly say it is great! everyone tried to put me off getting one of these,but after having washing hanging on every radiator in my house for the last 5 years I finally cracked and thank god i did. this hoover machine is brill. really easy to use and a 5 year parts guarantee! Great! It looks really nice too and due to the fact that we have a really small kitchen this was the only way I could have both a tumble dryer and washer in there.The only possible disadvantage is that it could make you lazy,especially on those really cold days,I mean who wants ... more
