Advantages: Good pick up
Disadvantages: Heavy. Poor quality build.

I believed that Hoover was the market leader and bought one of their top of the range products. It is a very heavy machine. My wife and children all struggle with it. It is very "plasticy" and the attachments soon fall off. I would avoid this machine like the plague. Advantages: picks up dirt from carpet well
Disadvantages: the attachments are not long enough

...Although it is a little bit yellow and ugly. I have been very impressed with this hoover. It picks up dirt extremley well and everything pulls apart to clean if something gets stuck.This hoover has been used to hoover up everything plaster dust to normal household dust and cat hair and other DIY jobs. It has taken a considerable beating from my husband who is not always kind to such appliances and kept on ticking. It is extremley hard wearing and after nearly two years does not show many signs of wear and tear only my only comment is that the attachements could be longer so I could reach further up the stairs when hoovering. This hoover is Great value for money hard working, wearing and I would buy another one when mine wears out.... Read review

...This has got to be one of the best hoovers around. I have a large urban apartment but hoovering with this hoover it only takes about 15 - 20 mins to do the lot. A friend bought one and raved about it for weeks and when my old one clapped out I just had to try it. It truly does the job and picks up so well I hardly ever have to pull my hair out at the mess created after a dustbag blows and my whole house looks like a pair of pigs have been shitting there for a month. All I need now is a hoover that will get rid of all the bloddy mice that ruin my sofa!... Read review

Advantages: It's great for picking up the dust and dirt off your carpet.
Disadvantages: The more you use it, the less it does it's job.

...My mum bought a Dyson about eight months ago now and, at this point, it is only just about working. I must admit that when she first got it, it was great. We were all fighting to use 'the new hoover' and hoover the places that had been hoovered ten times before that day!!!! It was great for picking up almost everything and doing the hoovering became more easier and less annoying, but the more it was used, the less easier it got. It wouldn't pick up the dust as before and we had to put more and more effort into the hoovering. Saying that, my mum has still got the hoover and it still picks up the majority of the dust and dirt off the carpets, but only when you put in too much effort that you should'nt have to put in. So, as you can see, I am torn on whether or not to recommend this product and you are all probably going to rate... Read review
