Advantages: Lightweight, easy to use Disadvantages: short charge time
...I Purchased this hoover as I have trouble carrying my hoover up and down the stairs, I saw this and thought it would be ideal for that job, and also the little messes you get from time to time. A item for convenience more than anything.
It comes in Silver and is priced around £69 depending on the store you go to.
It runs on 12 Long Life Ni-Cadmium batteries and comes with a rechargeable unit which can be wall mounted if you like.
Once charged you get around 15 minutes charge time, to be exact by the manufacturer's instructions 14.4 minutes. It has a washable permanent filter, but if you do choose to replace this in the future it costs around £3.30 so not an expensive spare. It holds on-board a Crevice Tool, Supersoft Brush and a Dusting Brush. When in use it has the capacity to hold around 0.6 litres of dust...

Advantages: Cleans your floors while you relax Disadvantages: Not as powerful as a normal hoover
...to stop it going down stairs so there is no need to worry about it falling.
This is the best gadget I have seen in ages and you can rely on it to do its job while you relax. Think of it as a very sophisticated sweeping brush rather than a dyson and you'll be laughing!
The only things I can say lets it down is that because it is circular in shape it cannot get thoroughly into corners though it does get pretty close. It also doesn't have as much power as a normal vac but still does a good job.
From what I understand this device is a remanufactured Roomba original.

Advantages: Boils quickly Disadvantages: Lid catch release jams
...I purchased this kettle about 15 months ago for £38.00 from Argos with a 12 month guarantee. I liked the overall design of the kettle and the rapid boil feature. To fill the kettle to maximum using cold water it takes approximately 3 minutes to boil. When full the kettle is quite heavy.
I only had to descale it once during that time but that might be due to living in a soft water area. The advantage with this kettle is that the scaling is confined to the base unlike plastic kettles where it can appear up the sides.
Recently the lid catch release had started to stick which made opening the lid almost impossible. When I contacted Kenwood online to order a new part I was told this part was now obsolete. I was surprised that the part had become obsolete when they are still retailing it.
Considering how much I paid...
