...MY wife bought our Dust Manager from a web based outlet and was extremely happy with the delivery and price of the machine. Thats where it all fell apart !. Yes there are five levels of filtration ,which I was well chuffed with being asthmatic all my life and suffering from the usual house mite allergies. However this seriously compromises the small dust holder and we have found that the filters need cleaning EVERY time it's put away and the dust container needs emptying after EVERY room has been hoovered (we hoover evey other day ). It absolutely refuses to pick up spilt powder from a tiled floor -more likely to blow it about - and is ineffective on our bedroom carpet if required to pick up fluff from socks or cotton threads. However it does look good as an ornament in the cupboard ! Are we happy with it --- what do you think... Read review

Advantages: Works for a while
Disadvantages: Stops when the cyclonic filter fills up

...My Dust Manager Cyclonic worked for a while then unexpectedly stopped because it had overheated. You then have to wait for the machine to cool down. A few minutes later the machine overheated again. The problem seems to lie with the cyclonic filter which in my case block long before the dust box fills up. So you have to stop regularly and clean the filter otherwise the machine just overheats and grinds to a halt. Hoover ask you not to take the machine back to the retailer but to phone their helpline. Engineers are helpful but unable to make suitable modifications just recommending that you clean the cyclonic filter regularly. Hoover are unable to offer either a refund or a permanent fix.... Advantages: picks up hair you cant even see
Disadvantages: stiff when trying to get the hoover upright, fill up too quick

...this hoover is ok, it fills up far too quickly though, i empty every time i use it (everyday) and with my last hoover i emptied just once every 3times i used it. it is also rather difficult to get the hoover upright and down to use it, the little step that you use is stiff, mine actually broke after 3 months of use!! the customer service is good though. but for picking up dirt it is excellent. i just think there are too many problems with it in other ways to stop it functioning brilliantly, the hose is ok.and the ease of getting the bag out is good to empty it, overall its ok for the actual purpose of picking up hair and dirt it does this really well. i bought mine for £130 which is a reasonable price for a hoover...
