Hoover TS 2061 Sensory Allergy

Advantages: Great cleaning quality for such a small compact machine
Disadvantages: Couple of design flaws that just irritate

...A Hoover is a Hoover, is a Hoover - Unless it's a vacuum cleaner of course! Well how many of us incorrectly talk about using a Hoover? When in fact we're just using another Vacuum cleaner - Just one of those idiosyncrasies of life today how a manufacturers name is somehow more associated with the task or appliance being used, rather than its accurate use. However, in this instance I do have a Hoover! A genuine one. A bright blue one! So, how about a little about the company: Hoover began in America, in Ohio. Eventually it established itself in the United Kingdom, and was a major player in the early and mid 1900's dominating the Vacuum cleaning industry. Advantages: It just goes on and on, lightweight, parts are cheap and easy to get
Disadvantages: No filters means its lousy for allergies, tool kit pointless for little suction. No longer on sale.

...In 1990 we had a very busy time of it, financial tax returns and decorations to the house meant we had to have a very tight financial budget to live on and by then it seemed that everything in our house started to go wrong. First we had to install a new combo gas boiler, then a new cooker was on the cards, the freezer blew up and to make matters worse our old faithful Hitachi cylinder vacuum ran out of suction. Asking around for a cheap vacuum cleaner never mind shopping for one was a trial in itself and I was used to using my mum's old metal Hoover Junior before she demanded it back. My partner's brother laughed at us when he saw our own Hoover Junior U1104 (the plastic one compared to my mum's old heavy metal one) but we couldn't afford anything else at that time, and for £45-00 it seemed a good bargain at the time. Advantages: Deep cleaning, Allergy protection, compact, easy to use, bagless
Disadvantages: initial cost, but well worth the money

..."Sometimes you have to spend money to save money" thats what I was told when I left home, I couldnt work this out really...initially, I went to University and my first year after that I moved into a house with some friends, (one of which had a couple of cats) I had never really had a problem with pets, sometimes its nice to have an animal round the house when no one else was in, there was only one problem with this...a couple of my sisters are allergic, and coming up to christmas 2007, we were going to be having a number of family gatherings! My friend was close with a couple of people that lived nearby, and said that when my sisters came to visit they would take the cats round there, and have her friend look after them...that took care of the cats, but what about the hairs etc. I decided we needed a decent Hoover that would...
