How does someone begin to decide to write an opinion on a tumble dryer? Its easy in my case, I had a big shock today when battling with the washing to hear the most strangest of noises coming from my tumble dryer...indeed it sounded as though it was on its last legs.
Luckily after going a shade of white and panicking and a cup of tea (me) the machine started working as normal, big phewwwww. But I got to thinking as you do, how long had we had the ... ...a new one just yet!!!
I have had my compact 288 for thirteen years (longer than I have been married) and never had to have a repair or replacement part. I paid £79.99 at a Norweb store, younger members will not remember these shops but they had their moments, and I paid £5.00 a week, interest free, in those days it was a lot of money for a new housewife!!!
