Advantages: Strong suction, onboard tools Disadvantages: Expensive running costs, very heavy
...This is now my fourth cleaner i have had for aroundf 2 years and found that the disadvatages outway the advantages.
I bought this cleaner from Argos for £80. It has a slim profile, bag check indicator, onboard tools and throw away paper dust bags. It also has a 1300w motor that produces a powerful suction so powerful the cleaner is difficult to move.
The cleaner has a hose that can stretch to twice it's length allowing for cleaning of stairs from the bottom instead of at the top (avoiding overturning the cleaner and sending it down the stairs like I ended up doing to the last cleaner i had)

Advantages: It just goes on and on, lightweight, parts are cheap and easy to get Disadvantages: No filters means its lousy for allergies, tool kit pointless for little suction. No longer on sale.
...Dyson, we had our old Junior.
Roll on 2007 and the Junior is still with us; he is on his fourth Dyson! We call our Hoover Junior, "Jimmy" for short not just because Jimmy sucks up cat hair with no problem, but also larger pieces of dust as well as the odd coin and leaves a really good looking finish on the carpet. But there are plenty of reasons to why we won't get rid of Jimmy even though there are obvious reasons to why consumers won't buy them; put simply, they're not on sale anymore!
~~ When Jimmy came to Stay ~~
After returning the old metal Junior to my mum, I walked past a private electrical shop one day and saw the beige/white Junior U1104 looking at me with a sale...

Advantages: Everlasting if looked after Disadvantages: they don't make them anymore

The reason i have decided to review such an old product is because i despair of modern vacuum cleaners. most of them either make claims they cannot live up to or they work great for three weeks then break down. there are several reliable makes of vacuum cleaners on the market but they start at prices of over £100. i have beeen stung so many times by dud's that i very seldom often bother with the new ones.
The hoover in question is a hoover turbopower u2332 i believe theese cleaners were availible from 1983 up untill the late 1990s in varius colourschemes. they did models with cord retractors & built...
