Right, those members remembering Hoover Juniors, will know they are a bog standard little vaccuum, correct so far. What has changed is the design, gone is the functional practical austere look, this is the new Doctor Who of cleaners. This is the new improved "Hoover with attitude" It looks modern, stylish even, and I dare say designers have been briefed to give it a sort of "In your face image".
While I have absolutely nothing against the idea of a household appliance being trendy, or even cool, I just think that we should keep out feet on the ground. "It is only a vaccuum cleaner" nothing more, nothing less.
Weight is only 3.8 Kgs, very light for this type of appliance. Availability is good, you will find them everywhere. As for the price, do not pay more than £35, this seems an enormous amount of money to me, but ...

I bought this two weeks ago from my local electrical store, I thought I had got a bargain for the 50 pounds I had spent and I always try to buy the Hoover brand and thought this was a good deal.

The box looked very professional and I really thought I had bought a great cleaner. The box was black and had a very classy looking picture of the Great"" vacuum I had just purchased. Along the side of the box was all of the Hoover?s features that I will explain later on.

programmes tend to be for smaller loads. If I do have to wash a duvet I will select the SENSITIVE CARE button F, which can be used in the cotton and mixed fabrics programs. Increased volumes of water are used in washing and rinsing to remove all soap residue thoroughly, so is suitable for childrens clothes too.
The STAIN BLASTER button G can only be used in Cotton cycles. It maintains the selected water temperature throughout the wash and also speeds up the drum rotations to maximise cleaning without lengthening the program.
On some of the cotton programs you can select STAIN BLASTER and SENSITIVE CARE together.
The 15 minute programme is for a small 1.5 kg clothes and only gives 800 spin. This is fine if you have all day to line dry but for a very quick wash and high spin, I do the following. Set the 15min wash and select no spin ...
