I bought one of these on November 9, attracted by the large capacity and good energy rating. At first I was very impressed - it looks smart, the condensing bottle is at the top so convenient to empty, and it's very quiet. It easily handled the volume of laundry my three children produce and I thought I'd bought a good quality, durable workhorse.
However, after four days the fitting on the machine into which the door latches simply disintegrated, falling back into the body of the tumble dryer and making it unusable, as if the door isn't latched shut, the machine won't operate.
The shop replaced the machine six days later. The same fitting on the replacement machine collapsed after four hour, making the new machine unsable.
Hoover sent out a repairman, who said the component hadn't been fitted properly when the machine was ...

I've had my V180 for a couple of years now, and my friends are suggesting that I ought to upgrade it. Personally, I don't really see the point.
It does everything I want it to do, it makes phone calls, has a fun game and it sends text messages. I don't use it to get on the internet, or as an MP3 player, or anything like that. It's a phone, but it has extra features that I could use if I so wished.
Its main funtion, for making phone calls, is well performed. I live in a fairly hilly area, and we go on holiday to places where they've never even heard of mobile phones, and yet it stil manages to find a signal somewhere. It even had two bars of signal 100 yards into a tunnel when I was on the train, which is pretty good going. The sound quality's pretty good as well, although this suffers when you use the speakerphone.

Bargin from Currys Reserve online and collect does not get any better.
Buy for £149. Hoover 8 kg dryer comes with 5 year parts and 1 year labour, no need to have the extra Guarantee from store.
Price is good same in Dixons & Comets. Currys were easier online as gives option for delivery at cost or to reserve in local store and collect at own convinience.
Comes with easy clip on vent pipe
The filter is yet to be tested as it opens up with all the fluff contained in middle, not to sure if this will hold up for 5 years, but what the hell its free parts for that duration.
Very little packing but done well, all rubbish fitted into old dryer with the exception of 2 peices of battern, ...
