Advantages: Large capacity, effiecent, good at cleaning clothes
Disadvantages: very deep

I seem to be completly at odds with the other review of this washing machine, seem to be two completly experiences of the same product. We have had this washing machine now for 3 months, probably a fair amount of time to have used most of the settings and given it a good shakedown. After delivery a small bit of DIY is required. ...have 2 people and takes about 10 minutes, clear picture based instructions. You only need to worry about the waste pipe and cold water connection, not hotwater input. In the past 3 months this washing machine has had pretty much everything thrown at it. Horse rugs, very muddy outdoor clothing, and then all the usual, clothes, towels bedding ect. This was a very impulsive buy, our washer died a death just a few days before Xmas, we needed one fast, we couldn't wait for delivery so went to a local appliance store, I wanted another Zanussi, but ended up with a Hoover vision HD!, within 4 hrs it was in my kitchen. I looked at the reviews and felt doom! what a mistake it was, BUT Sorry this washer is FAB, it has a really big drum and you can fit in nearly twice as much as my old washer, it washes very well and it has a good spin too, there is nothing negative I can say about it, I have waited to write this review in case of impending breakdown! but none so far!

In my opinion, shoppers wishing to buy a large capacity machine would be better off avoiding this brand. I'm on my second machine in five months, the first only lasting 31 days before being exchanged. The second one is now playing up too, it's a bit of a lottery everytime the door is opened as to what you are going to find. Today it's refusing to spin, other days it doesn't rinse and sometimes it spins your garments for hours until you notice somethings wrong! Spend a few extra pounds and buy a better quality machine - I wish I had!

We bought our hoover 9kg load HD vision on 5th dec 2007 on the 6th Dec ( the day after it was delivered) it broke down. hoover were very good and got an engineer out however it broke down again on 19th Jan it took 2 weeks to get the part, we were messed around with engineers being off sick, then half an hour after it was fixed it broke down again. Hoover have refused to replace it with a new machine although this is the 3rd malfunction in 2 months. I wish I had never bought the machine. Do not consider buying one, large capacity or not!
