...Again, a fact of which Hoover are aware. Unfortunately, he did not have the requisite part with him and would have to order it direct from Hoover! It would probably take a couple of days. Now my first reaction was to get the machine replaced - however, I really can't face the seemingly obligatory confrontation required to achieve this. ...recommended getting it fixed by Hoover themselves (who cost £80appox an hour but the parts are free), except the part that needed fixing was a little tube, but we had paid out £70. Then it stopped producing hot air when tumble drying, so we had to have the fan changed (another £80). Sometimes it gets a mood on and doesn't spin properly, so the clothes are sopping wet, and you have to set it to spin again - very annoying. Just recently it has started ...
...does the same thing again and again but the wash does not progress, until you manually turn the dial to get it to the next point in the cycle. We are at the point now (and the machine is only a couple of years old) where we have to decide between paying out for more repairs or buying one that works properly. ... Read review

Rubber pipe from soap draw rubs against drum or side if machine (take your pick) and leaks this has been replaced 3 times in the last 2 years then an updated plastic pipe was fitted this last 12 months give or take a few weeks and has now been replaced, This time i'm enclosed the plastic pipe in 22mm foam pipe insulation this seems to have done the trick... HOOVER TAKE NOTE!

I bought this machine 6 years ago and am currently doing the first repair. the door seal needs replacing. my machine has been well travelled as we have moved house 4 times, and each time its plumbed in again its never been any problem. the buttons and settings are easy to use, the soap drawer is easy to remove and clean. i use my machine sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. i no longer use the tumble dryer because it took too long to dry the clothes ...
