~ What are Hopi Ear Candles? ~ The candles used at the place I went to are made by BIOSUN. These ear candles are about 22cm long and have a burning time of 10-12minutes. These ear candles are made by hand using the traditional recipe. The ear candles are made from pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs (eg Sage, St John's ... ...involved inside the ear.
Hopi Ear Candles are useful for a number of things including:

I visited a chiropractor’s practice this afternoon to make an appointment to sort out my trapped sciatic nerve and spotted Hopi Ear Candles for use at home for £6 for a pair. Given that in a salon this treatment would probably require about 45 minutes and cost between £20 and £30, I decided to try a pack out.

I was advised before the treatment started that I may not visibly see any wax in the candle when it was unravelled but that the treatment would have dislodged earwax even if it hadn't removed ... ...reports I had read about Hopi ear candling was that at the end of the treatment you can unwrap the candle and view the contents.
