Advantages: Great vocals, lyrics Disadvantages: Not as well known as should be
has ever done. Fantastic.
6.) It's Not That Hard
To be honest I was not really that into this track first time round but after a few listens got more into it, It's by no means the best on OneMan but it sure isnt a bad track and will have it's appeal to many but for me there are much better tracks on the album.
7.) Club
This is a particularly catchy track with an immense bass hook that is so funky that it forces you to tap your toe to the beat. A slice of hip hopthat is a guaranteed club hit if it was released by someone more well known. Again showing Tank's vocal versatility.
8.) No One But Me
This is a very good track which has a nice flow and showcases his vocals well. Not quite up there with the best on the album but a very good ballad indeed and onethat should have great appeal to any R&B fan. A very good ...
Advantages: Stirs up debate, discusses key values of patriotism and liberty, aims at inclusion Disadvantages: Exclusive, mis-reading of history, at least potentially illiberal, propoaganda
When I say I'm studying politics, a lot of people assume I'll be up on current affairs. In fact, my time is often spent on largely abstract argument, and/or historical ideas (I'm teaching Plato's Republic this term, for example). Still, I did here about Gordon Brown's speech on 'Britishness' (delivered 14/01/06 to the Fabian Society, and available on their website: http://www.fabian-society.org.uk/pressoffice/display.asp?id=520&type=news&cat=43 [all quotes from here]).
I only read it in full because one of our professors, Joseph Raz, decided to dedicate a seminar to it, as an example of contemporary rhetoric concerning a (supposed) political ideal. I'm glad I did, as I found both the speech and the seminar quite provocative.
Brown's general claim was that we need to rediscover and reinvigorate a spirit of British patriotism ...
Advantages: Good gameplay, good graphics Disadvantages: n/a
This is another one of those build a settlement games. But with the great graphics and gameplay, it's definately at the higher end of the board. Throughout the tutorial there is a voiceover which helps you learn how to play the game, but if you prefer to figure it out on your own, there is a free play game which allows you to build from scratch and learn how everything works. All in all, I think this is a game that you could play endlessly as there are different campaigns and challenge modes that you can do to suss out everything. I think this is a good game and it also teaches you history at the same time. So your kids can play it and learn together. ...

Manufacturer's product description
The original India Pale Ale was pure gold in a glass a semi-mythical beer from the late 18th century, brewed in Britain to travel halfway around the world, through ocean storms and tropical sunshine, and arrive in perfect condition for a long, cold drink on an Indian veranda. And although you can still buy beers with 'IPA' on the label today, most are, frankly, pale imitations of the original. For the first time in 140 years, a keg of traditional Burton IPA has been brewed for a voyage to India by canal and tall ship, around the Cape of Good Hope; and the man carrying it is award-winning beer writer Pete Brown. Brazilian pirates and Iranian customs officials lie ahead, but will he even make it that far, having fallen in the canal just a few miles outside Burton-on-Trent? And if Pete does make it to the other side of the world with 'Barry' the barrel, one question remains: what will the real IPA taste like? Weaving first-class travel writing and new historical research with assured comedy, Hops and Glory is both a rollicking, raucous history of the Raj and a wonderfully entertaining, groundbreaking experiment to recreate the finest beer ever brewed. About the AuthorPete Brown used to advertise lager for a living, until he realized that writing books about beer was even more fun, and entailed drinking even more beer. He appears regularly on television as a beer expert, writes on beer for a variety of publications and is the author of Man Walks into a Pub and the award-winning travel book Three Sheets to the Wind. He lives in London.
