I am suprised to see Horlicks in the heath and energy drinks section as it is what I use when I want to go to sleep so it does not give me energy quite the opposite in fact makes me all sleepy.
I don't think it is particularly healthy either as it is not a multi vitamin drink but something along the lines of hot chocolate in that you mix it with hot milk. I think you could mix it with water it would not be as nice.
It has a nice malty creamy flavour. You can also get chocolate horlicks too which is malty and chocolatey. The only downside is that if you do not whisk it well you end up with lumps which are not very nice - I have an electric hand blender so use this to mix it to make it lump free.
The price depends on the format you buy it in as you can get sachets which are about 99p or a jar which is about £3.50. Readily available from supermarkets and corner shop and just what you need on a cold winters night to help you drift off to sleep.
