Advantages: quentin helped make this movie-good story-not exactly the most scariest movie Disadvantages: could have been directed by some one better.
...are backpackers traveling to a hostel in eastern Europe (Slovakia)because a man told them there were women there who are very beautiful and were only attracted to tourists. The three backpackers Jump on the next train to Slovakia, In hopes of Finding the so called "promised Land" in search of beautiful womens. When they get there they have fun and some have lots of fun, But eventually they find out that it is not very fun and that it is to "die for".
... ...scenes and blood flying everywhere like nobody cares and people dying for no good reason so people can make money. This movie should be rated for only 212yrs old because there are some horrifying death scenes which should never be watched especially if a kid gets hold of it and then all of a sudden he will be having nightmares throughout his childhood.
Eli Roth directed this movie, he is an okay director and has taken part in making some movies ...

Advantages: A good introduction to exploitation films and the work of Jess Franco Disadvantages: But it might be too tame if you're already a fan of exploitation films
...two exploitation films directed by Jess Franco and released under Tartan's Grindhouse label. As such they're not masterpieces, or suitable for all tastes, but they do attract a fairly strong cult following and are definitely worth a watch if you're interested in seeing films that are a bit off the beaten path. This is apparently the second Jess Franco double bill released by Tartan although it's the only one I've seen (and was my introduction to ... ...can gather most fans of Jess Franco will just be glad to have these films on DVD and the quality is about as good as the films are ever going to get.
The DVDs have next to nothing in the way of extras. Devil's Island Lovers contains approximately 30 minutes of additional and alternate scenes which made up the more sexually and violently explicit French version of the film. Advantages: Fantastic soundtrack and brilliant stunts Disadvantages: A little far fetched
...friend of mine suggested seeing The Covenant at the cinema when it first came out I wasn't too enthusiastic but decided to go anyway. All I can say is that I'm glad I did, as the film I saw was fantastic. The energy, power but also the empathy it created was immense and the soundtrack one of the best I'd heard in a while.
