...cannibalism. In a desolate night at a rural section of Pennsylvania, seven ordinary people seek refuge in a farmhouse as they try to fight for their very own survival against an ever-growing horde of ravenous flesh-eating ghouls… If anything, Night of the Living Dead is a study of the human condition under pressure. While trying to find a way to escape the legions of zombies, several of the humans begin to bicker among themselves. In one instance, ... ...a "deathtrap". What makes Night of the Living Dead a truly harrowing film is the tension we vicariously experience. Although we are mere spectators, there are times when we find ourselves yelling at the characters on screen, even arguing with them.
