Advantages: Outstanding CG work
Disadvantages: Basic plot, not really a horror.

Whilst many people may slate this horror movie of 2000, I personally enjoyed it- the lack of an unpredictable storyline may have marred it, but the computer graphics are breath-taking…and so, on with the review! Advantages: More accessible than the Japanese original
Disadvantages: Can't avoid the "Hollywood-isation" completely

It was subtle and effective and left you feeling washed out, rattled and distressed; everything a great chiller should. The plot consists of a journalist investigating a videotape with very disturbing images that may have killed four teenagers, now even through the cheesy plot of a killer video tape, it really drawed me in.
