...For the first few chapters you probably will be confused, but I think that's meant to be part of it, after the plot gets going its as captivating as any other book I've read. Look out for the everpresent Talamasca, and enjoy a breather from the Brat Prince. Advantages: MUST READ FOR CHRONICLE FANS
Disadvantages: Length, if you struggle with detail.

This is the continued story of Lestat, one of the main characters of Interview with the Vampire. We also see other familiar characters in this story. To get more details of their lives throughout the Chronicles is a great plus for the fans. When Interview ended, I was wanting more, and this tale delivers! After both watching the film Interview with a Vampire then also reading the book. I wanted to know what happened next so baught the book The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice. I honestly believe that this book was better than the first and I actually managed to find out Lestas life.
