Four Past Midnight
Review of Four Past Midnight - Stephen King by RedTape

Advantages: Book scares you into uncontrolled bowel movements
Disadvantages: May cause the reader to go into shock

...of macabre himself composed of four chilling short stories or novellas. If you love horror stories that can drive you into paranoia and have you sleeping with the lights on THIS IS THE PERFECT NOVEL TO READ. This book is composed of very different and intensely chilling novellas. These are: The Langoliers: This begins where passengers who have been sleeping on a plan wake up to find they are alone and that those who were awake have disappeared; and ...
...but I am going to tell you that from there, things take a horrifying turn, and no, it's nothing like the average airplane movie and does not include terrorists. Secret Window Secret Garden: A man accused of plagarism The Library Policeman: You have to read this. This is just sick, and scary. It's about the main character sam who has a terrifying encounter with "the library policeman" when he was younger and is now afraid to set foot in a library. ... Read review

From a buick 8 came a torrid book
Review of From a Buick 8 - Stephen King by darkangelwing

Advantages: Loosely based on a true story, written after stephen king's car accident, some very nice styles and enthrawling twists!
Disadvantages: A killer car hrmmm... could this be Christine no.2?

...handling a fresh, new book from the shelf, the sweet papery scent that escaped it's clutches as you flickered through the pages, ahh the hidden delights of books. I think Tom got slightly exasperated on many occasions when I looked at this novel, it's divine purple flashes of light drew my attention, it's chrome fender on the cover flashing with sweet elegance ahhh what a cover hehe, but I was warned and never took the advice but I want to read ...
...the other the aftermath but From a Buick 8 does not fit into either category. Part was written beforehand and the rest finished after. Stephen King is a complete perfectionist and refuses to release a first draft, most of his novels and this in particular had certain references included that needed double checking and so resulted in a truthful display of Stephen King's modern day novels. I mentioned that the book is loosely based on a true story, ... Read review

From the Corner of his eye, Dean Koontz
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by muffinandsam

Advantages: Will keep you entertained for hours
Disadvantages: You won't want to put it down

This is the one book that has stayed in my mind for years and I can read over and over again. Dean Koontz has a way of keeping you mesmorised for hours. This book has been written in a way that only Dean Koontz can do, and its impossible to describe and I'd highly recommend reading this book. It is about an 8 year old boy who has lost his Dad, but isn't sad about losing his Dad because he is able to step between 'worlds' and in another 'world' his ... Read review

False Memory.
Review of False Memory - Dean Koontz by loopymum65

Advantages: A good read and plausible.
Disadvantages: Non that i can think of.

Without wishing to give away too much of the story... Martie and Dusty are very happily married and two very nice people.Martie helps to care for her best friend Susan who suffers from severe agrophobia, and Dusty feels himself to be responsible for his younger brother Skeet who suffers from drug problems. Unfortunately both Skeet and Susan are under the influence of a morally bankrupt psychiatrist who has a remarkable gift, and twisted enjoyment ...
...control but are able to figure this out before he is able to destroy too much of their lives too. The story documents their discoverys and their desperate attempts to bring the psychiatrist to justice for all the human misery and destruction he has caused in the lives of innocent people during his career of over 20 years. As you would expect, he does not take kindly to two of his subjects turning against him in his latest 'game', and as he tries ... Read review

Apocalypse by apes.
Review of Fear Nothing - Dean Koontz by Elffriend

Advantages: A good introduction to the author
Disadvantages: another series to follow

...second favourite author. I bought Fear Nothing through a book club, at a reduced price, but it is probably a lot cheaper by now. The Plot. The town of Moonlight Bay, home of twelve thousand inhabitants, hides a secret that for four years have been kept at bay. Now, the secret that will ultimately change the lives of Humanity is threatened by one person. Christopher Snow, has his own problems to deal with. At twenty-eight, he is one of a small ...
...disorder, xeroderma pigmentosus,a condition which makes him surceptical to skin cancer. All ultra-violet rays affect him, from the merest touch of sunlight to fluorescent tubes. Nicknamed “snowman” by his girlfriend Sasha Goodall, a deejay at the local radio station, the opening chapter sees Chris rushing to his dying Father’s bedside. In a poignant chapter, Chris’s problems with light are shown, as is his relationship with his father, who’s dying ... Read review
