I started off really enjoying this book and thought the suspense was quite good and 'where will she be sent and what will she have to do next?' but then I thought the book started to get a little far fetched. Advantages: Answers questions about the Ripper Disadvantages: It's just fiction
Follows the story of Trevor Bentley a fifteen year old boy that lives in London East End.
The date is 8 November 1888 and Trevors mother has been beaten by a drunken friend of
his fathers (who is deceased).After rendering the man unconscious with the fireplace poker
Trevor heads out to retrieve his uncle.Finding his uncle not at home Trevor sets out on

Advantages: Flows nicely right from the start Disadvantages: Ending came too soon
I've read many of Laymons books, and this was a recent purchase which I'm glad I made.
The story is all about a college boy, who, due to events in his love life, turn him to the 'thrills' (and dangers!) of wandering the streets late at night......
I could have easily read it one sitting, as its hard to put down.
I wont give any of the story away, but its well worth a read. Very typical of Laymons style with good character descriptions, so you ...
