Advantages: Great riffs, vocals Disadvantages: Not followed up well
**Introduction**
I'm sure all of you have at least one cd in your collection from an artist you really only like that album from them. One such band that I feel this way about Is Nickelback. Although I do like some of their other stuff there is not enough consistency on any of their other albums for me to buy any other Nickelback albums.
Nickelback
Chad Kroeger - vocals, rhythm guitar, production
Ryan Peake -lead guitar, backing vocals, production
Mike Kroeger - bass, production
Ryan Vikadel - drums, production
**SilverSide Up.
They released their third studio album SilverSide Up on that fateful day 11th September 2001. This album is wrongly given as their debut because of the success of the album compared to their previous two albums which performed badly. Advantages: Ease of use. Delicious food. Disadvantages: None
I recently began to use a ?CordonBleu? slow cooker to cook meat while I am out of the house at work.
This was a Christmas present from a business associate a couple of years back, but had lain in my attic ever since, still in the box and gathering dust.

The results are amazing. The meat seems to absorb far more of the flavour of the added ingredients, and is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. An added bonus is that the ?left over ...
Advantages: catchy rock riffs Disadvantages: kroeger's vocal 'ability'
Yes, they've become turgid, repetitive c**p of late and their latest offering 'The Long Road' is about as close to the edge of reality as you will get, but there was a time back in 2001 when Nickelback rocked the singles charts and produced an album of pure class that out-sold anything that anyone had to offer for roughly the next 6 months.
That album was 'SilverSide Up', the album that spawned 'How You Remind Me', a track that got to the top of the singles charts and refused to budge.....to anyone. It was without doubt a class act upon the first few listens, but have to admit that after the 1000th listen it started to die on me.
I'm not a Nickelback fan, in fact i'm in the group that can no longer stand them, but believe that the genius of 'SilverSide Up' does deserve respect for it's ambition and overall result. Besides 'How You ...
