When my old washing machine gave up the will to live at only 3 years old ( it was a servis and only cheap) I decided that this time I was going to make a list of all the things I wanted out of a washing machine and then trying to find one that met all the criteria.
I wanted a bigger drum load, my old machine was only 5kg I couldnt even get my sons single duvet in there and I seemed to be doing so many loads every week so i figured bigger drum would cut down on the loads thus saving electricity and detergent etc. I also wanted a energy efficent machine preferably AAA but a AAB would also do. Also I wanted a faster spin as my old machine was only a 1100 and my clothes felt really wet when they came out. Lastly something with a snazzy drawer or hidden drawer as my baby daughter had a nasty habit of slipping her fingers in the handle of the other one.
So i shopped about and came came across the Aqualtis range I loved the look of it straight away and as I went through the specifications I found that it met my list. It has a 1400 spin on it which is great but it also has this Shhhhh function built in which means although it is fast it is also quiet which is great for night time washing when you have a baby in the house and also don't want to disturb your neighbours
It has a massive 7.5 kg drum load which is fantastic when you have a family and loads of washing to do. I can easily fit a single duvet in there now and it means I am doing a lot less loads each week
It also has a great program called Bed & Bath which is specially for your bedding and towels it has a automatic spin speed of 1400 which is great as they hardly need any drying especially in this weather and I can get 5 bath sheets in at a time!!
As for the last 2 things it is a AAB energy efficiency and the drawer is hidden inside the machine!! behind the door which is such a clever idea for anyone with children who like to play with them and put things in them?!
It also has a Pause button so if your anything like me and find an odd sock on the stairs five minutes after you started the wash you just press pause you will hear a clicking sound and then you can open the door and throw it in, close the door press the button again and it will resume.
It has loads of washes to choose from including a duvet, shirt, silk, wool, white & pre-wash, quick wash and when you select one you have a digital display which tells you the preset temperature, spin cycle & time, you can change these by simply pushing the button underneath each one. It even has a child lock on it which you just press and hold for a few seconds to activate and it means your little angels can come along turn the knob, press the buttons and nothing changes.
I love this machine it has everything I wanted from a washing machine and more and it looks fantastic and is so easy to use it makes washing apleasure rather than a chore. It is also saving me on electricty as for every 3 loads that I used to do I now only do 2 and with the fast spin it means my tumble dryer is going for half the time it used to be.
