Hotpoint Aqxxl 129 PI

I thought I would follow up on my review about my Hotpoint Condenser Dryer with a review on my Hotpoint Aqualtis washing machine which works just as hard if not harder than my dryer in my house. As we all do when buying a new appliance me and my wife shopped around and settled on the Hotpoint Aqualtis AQXXL 129 when having a look around the B&Q warehouse. ok i had my old machine for at least 8 years and not one bit of trouble it was a candy i'm unsure who makes them but it was brill, until 1 month ago (nightmare) water every where ruined my laminate floor and seeped into my kitchen cupboards but as i say i can not grummble i paid £140 for it 8 years ago so what now my wife says we are a bit short on the finance funds and she wants the washing machine , you know she says the one of the telly hello argos with 9 months intrest free , 7-10 days mrs argos says .. ok its cool mums are great when you need a favor the day of arrival it gets dropped off ... more

I bought this from apollo 2000, easy to plumb in, hot and cold hose at the back with an outlet pipe. Although it did take some undoing, with large bolts to undo that hold the barrel in place. after the ease of installing, read the instructions it can do wonders, it has an easy dial on the front where you can choose from whites, bed and bath, to coloured and silks, you dont have to stick to the options as you can choose to wash things manually. This is the best machine i have bought in years!!!! my first ever machine was a servis washer dryer and back then it was the bees knee,s then that went the way of the dodo as the parts were not avalible so bought a indesit well that was ok but it was to small a drum and i was doing 3 washes a day. that finally went to the scrape heap and then my hotpoint arrived and well i found as much washing as i could to fill the drum ( i couldn't ) but hey new toy put the powder in softner and off i went a sat in my kitchen and watched the machine for 2 hours while it did a white wash (i know sad) but ... more
