Having had this dishwasher for a few weeks now we are very happy with it. The Hotpoint Ariston LFT114 is a good dishwasher with many different features. Bought this machine new a little over two years ago and already replaced it for one of a different manufacture. I found it exceptionally noisy (though the Manufacturer's Engineer reported that there was no fault) and unreliable with initial call-out within 12 month Guarantee Period and three times since, which gets very expensive! Do NOT be fooled by the Manufactuer's 5 year parts guarantee. The parts are free but the cost of delivery and having them fitted is £100 minimum even when the replacement part fails six months later (It appears that there is only a 90 day warrenty on repairs) . I first purchased a Hotpoint LFT 114 direct from Indesit in Peterborough back in April of this year 09 but did not have it installed until the end of May and since then I,am on my fourth appliance. I have had all sorts of problems from a electronic mother board being replaced to the second model flooding my kitchen the third model the first time it was used got an air block and my forth model is being delivered tomorrow morning 05/08/09. I hate to do the dishes. It is one household chore that drives me up the wall! I think most women would agree with me. That is why I bought the HotPoint LFT 114 dishwasher last week. I was really looking forward to a pleasurable, hassle-free experience. While it does the job of cleaning the dishes, it makes a lot of noise. It is so annoying that you can’t sleep. I regret buying it. Their customer service executives are also inexperienced I guess. They didn’t have answers to my queries. Plus they kept me on hold for a really long time.
