the drum was perfect height for easy loading of clothes which was really handy for me. the washing machine dials was easy and simple to use i liked that because my past washing machines have been a bit complicated. the instruction manual was in varied languages so if i was a foriegn emigrant i would still be able to read it so that as its advantages.

...INDICATING A FAULT. I CONTACTED HOTPOINT IN ORDER TO GET IT REPAIRED. THEY SENT OUT THE FIRST REPAIR MAN WHO SPENT 61 MINUTES FIXING THE MACHINE AFTER. MY WIFE CAME IN THAT EVENING TO BEGIN WASHING AND LOW AND BEHOLD THE FLASHING RED LIGHTS CAME ON AGAIN WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF STARTING THE DRYING CYCLE. AFTER QUITE A LENGTHY TELEPHONE DELAY IN TRYING TO CONTACT HOTPOINT I EVENTUALLY BOOKED IN ANOTHER REPAIR DATE. THE REPAIR MAN CAME MADE ANOTHER DIAGNOSIS ... ...REPAIR DATE. I DULY TELEPHONED HOTPOINT , AFTER AGAIN A LENGTHY DELAY AND EXPRESSED MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THEIR SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER HOTPOINT MACHINE AGAIN, I ASKED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR FOR COMPENSATION AFTER SPENDING OVER £30 IN THE LAUNDRY BUT TO NO AVAIL - THEY SAID THEY DO NOT OFFER COMPENSATION, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED -STEER CLEAR OF HOTPOINT. ...
