I,M MARRIED,NO CHILDREN AND LOVE SHOPPING. WE LIVE IN A SMALL COTTAGE OVER LOOKING A RIVER. MY HOBBIES ARE COOKING , PLAYING GUITAR AND PURSUING HEDONISTIC DELIGHTS. I CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE A FOODIE AND LOVE EATING NICE FOOD. I WORK PART TIME.

I HAVE HAD MY WASHER DRYER FOR JUST OVER TWO YEARS. IT IS A BWD 129 SUPER SILENT MACHINE, WHEN IT IS PUT INTO DRYER MODE THE RED LIGHTS FLASH ON THE CONTROL PANEL INDICATING A FAULT. I CONTACTED HOTPOINT IN ORDER TO GET IT REPAIRED. THEY SENT OUT THE FIRST REPAIR MAN WHO SPENT 61 MINUTES FIXING THE MACHINE AFTER. MY WIFE CAME IN THAT EVENING TO BEGIN WASHING AND LOW AND BEHOLD THE FLASHING RED LIGHTS CAME ON AGAIN WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF STARTING THE DRYING CYCLE.
AFTER QUITE A LENGTHY TELEPHONE DELAY IN TRYING TO CONTACT HOTPOINT I EVENTUALLY BOOKED IN ANOTHER REPAIR DATE. THE REPAIR MAN CAME MADE ANOTHER DIAGNOSIS OF THE PROBLEM AND SAID THAT HE DID NOT CARRY THE PART ON HIS VAN AND I WOULD HAVE TO BOOK ANOTHER REPAIR DATE. I DULY TELEPHONED HOTPOINT , AFTER AGAIN A LENGTHY DELAY AND EXPRESSED MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THEIR SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER HOTPOINT MACHINE AGAIN,
I ASKED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR FOR COMPENSATION AFTER SPENDING OVER £30 IN THE LAUNDRY BUT TO NO AVAIL - THEY SAID THEY DO NOT OFFER COMPENSATION, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED -STEER CLEAR OF HOTPOINT.
