Our 11-month-old machine has been looked at on 4 occasions (not including the first visit by the engineer who refused to work on the machine as we hadn't pulled it out from underneath the kitchen counter - not that we'd been told to, of course). Every time, the engineer has walked away thinking he's fixed it. But we run the machine after he leaves and one hour into the cycle, the same problem occurs.
Hotpoint/Indesit, whilst generally friendly on the phone, seem unable to actually do anything to get the problem solved other than send out yet another engineer. They have replaced the same parts repeatedly and we're in a vicious circle. The machine is under warranty (being so new) but Hotpoint/Indesit seem determined not to offer us a replacement.
If you want to save yourself a lot of hassle - and a lot of wasted days' holiday from work, steer clear of this machine.
Sorry for the low rating but there is not enough information or opinion in this review to make it helpful from the point of view of a consumer looking at making a purchase. If you update please leave a message in my guestbook and I will return to re-rate.
