Was concerned as after buying I found that Hotpoint are now part of Indesit. Our previous machine was Indesit and it lasted less than 3 years. The Hotpoint is the same size but seems to wash a whole lot better. The controls are are easy to master and operation is simple. The wash results are good and clothing comes out very dry after spinning - a real benefit before tumble drying.It is also so quiet my wife has to keep checking that it's on. Installation was simple despite the instruction manual. I did it myself in less than an hour. So far not a hint of a problem and my wife is very pleased with the purchase. Just a shame integrated machines are so much more expensive than free-standing
