I do have a few experiences with dishwashers being part of a large family of which most of us own one, so I have loaded and unloaded a few in my time.
I am very impressed with this dishwasher; I've just had a new one because we have just moved house and the old one went with the deal on the old property. So wonderful mother-in-law (have to say that!) offered to buy me a new one for our house warming present - see said I had to say something nice.
So I ended up buying this Hotpoint FDW60 and I am very glad I did.
Advantages:-
Very quiet in operation - much much quieter than my last one.
It has A cleaning rating and yes it washes very well.
Very easy to load, the drawers do come out easily and are very spacious for you to load all your stuff on.
I have so far washed pans, plates, frying pans and very mucky kids stuff and it's all come out sparkling - so far no rejects as happens with some other dishwashers.
The cutlery basket has a nifty lip on it with holes in for you to put your tea spoons in, which is a great idea if you drink loads of tea like we do.
Disadvantages:-
Has loads of options, which I am sure I will never use and quite a lot of buttons so if you are used to the dial versions, this will take a little getting used to but once you do it is easy to use - so not a real disadvantage.
The second isn't really a disadvantage either but I have to point this out - you must load from the back to the front otherwise the drawers get a bit unstable and can make it a bit more difficult to get the drawer in and out.
And that's it - very nice machine - I feel it is very good value for money - good cleaning - quiet operation - efficient running rating - fab all you need in one little dishwasher!!!

I found it easier to buy a dog and let it lick the plates clean...they dry quick too, if a little crusty...ok, I'd better admit I'm just kidding before I right any food reviews. Great review..Mike x
