Advantages Easy to use and clean. Looks good
Disadvantages I don't think its going to last very long!
I have had this cooker for a year now, I bought it as I wanted a 50cm cooker to fit into the kitchen. I also wanted stay clean liners, ceramic hob, double oven, programmable timer etc and this cooker has it all. Initially the oven didn't reach the correct temperature ( I used an oven thermometer to register this). Also the casing of the cooker was being marked by the heat coming out of the top oven when in use due to heat escaping under the seals. (Hard to explain) I called in the engineer who changed both thermostats in the ovens and changed the door seal in the top oven. A few weeks later and the casing is marking again! While I waited for this to be done I had to use the main oven. While cleaning the oven today I noticed that the door surround in the main oven has become bubbled and is flaking off.
I have to say that overall I am very happy with the performance of the cooker but the materials and design of leave a lot to be desired and I will be writing to Hotpoint this week.I saved for over a year to purchase a new cooker and really liked the look of this one, but feel very disappointed with not the performance of it but the quality.
