Advantages: You can choose whether to open the door on the left or the right. Disadvantages: Freezer compartment gets iced up quickly.

As a fridge it has proved quite efficient. I have ... ...door shelves are sometimes tricky to slot into place - and that's the most annoying bit about the cleaning! The freezer section, however, is a bit of a pain. It freezes over too quickly and I have actually stopped using it to its full capacity as I don't have the time to keep defrosting it. ...have never had problems with Hotpoint appliances before and this was the main reason for purchasing it. It has a neat simple front with a door that can open from the left or right, quite easy to change by following instructions.
The storage in the fridge section is spacious and will satisfy most everyday needs. The door has a continuous dairy store at the top with an eight egg holder and plenty of space to fit both cheese and butter/ margerine. ... ...this there are two removable plastic holders, which will hold 2 jam jars and a smaller jar. Beneath is the traditional milk area, the metal bar sometimes 'pings' off.
The shelving and salad box, at the bottom, is well designed and you can store a lot of food and drink. Anything touching the drip tray at the top can tend to freeze, which can be a problem.
