All this changed in november when I bought my dryer after seeing an advert in a local shop. £129... Bargain!
No longer do I walk past the many jeans and socks having a quick feel to see if they're dry yet. Now, I just set the time (45 minutes normally do a 4kg load) ... ...to be put away. It's got a Low/Hi setting right bang in the middle of the dryer. Low settings works well on more delicate items, but I have found that if you need to dry jeans or hoodies then High is the only way. There is no seperate try for things that may have fallen out of pockets, but they seem to stay in the tumble - and believe me you soon know about it. I bought this machine just over a year ago from currys for £100. I was a straight off the shelve display model. Works fine no problems. Only a 3kg dry though, but I can fit most of my 7kg wash into it. Has a cool and a hot heat button. Has a 10 minute cool down time at the end. I have a pipe from it into a white box with water in it. The box with pipes was supposed to be £20 from curries. We didn't entend to get it but we went back in to see that ... ...hold on. They they gave us the box with a longer pipe and one that fits. Great value for money. Very easy to easy, you just turn a dial clockwise. It has both clockwise and anticlockwise drying. the cleaning grid is very easy to remove and easy to clean. should be done after each dry. so easy though its never been a problem. ...

These things are still a disaster waiting to happen. We still have one after a number of years because old one cost Hotpoint so much to fix (on the service contract that we had to buy to keep costs reasonable) that they offered us a replacement at less... more
