I have had this machine for nearly 4 years. It has eaten and ripped my clothes. It also makes small holes in your clothes It has also made a few crunching noises (which I assume is a bearing) and sometimes I have to wash clothes 4 times before they smell remotely wearable (this happened before the assumed bearing went). The dryer takes ages and doesn't dry. The machine spin is very noisy (yes machine if flat and properly installed).
I am only giving this 1 star because I have to and the controls on the front are easy to use.
Am about to purchase a new machine (no point fixing this one as it was not good when it was new) and it will not be a Hotpoint. Buy at your own peril.

Not really extensive enough for a Very Helpful. Try using formatting and describing each aspect a little more. Other that that, good review.
