Hotpoint WD72

Have had the model of washer dryer for 5 years now and it has operated faultlessly since day one. It has a good selection of programs, its easy to use and fairly economical. Always gets things nice and clean, and the dryer function works well too, if not quite as good as a dedicated tumble dryer. Spin cycle is a bit loud, but depends on what weight of clothing you are washing at the time.

One single problem was that we had a broken door hinge (caused by ex-gf leaning on the door on time) - called hotpoint and got the replacement part shipped out next day, and installed it myself.

I clean the fliter and the soap tray every few months which is the only maintaince needed, as is a quick painless job to do. Maybe its because I look after my appliances that I don't have any problems with them?

For people who have had problems with electrics tripping, maybe they should consider that their house wiring is not up to standard and get that checked, rather than blaming the machine? Washer/Dryers consume a lot of power at peak load - add that to running a fridge, freezer, lighing, pc etc all on at the same time and if you live in an older property its no wonder the power trips out.
