Advantages Very economic as it has only worked for 7 weeks, and now my partner is doing all my washing.
Disadvantages The newly designed door closing mechanism is not up to the job just like the previous model.
If you are thinking of buying one, don't !
I purchased mine from my local branch of a national chain of electrical retailers at the end of October and started having problems after just 7 weeks ( approx ; 14 wash cycles). It is now January and guess what ? the washer is still not working due to a broken door catch. The engineer who came to repair the machine said that he only had a replacement spare part for the previous model, apparently my new machine had a redesigned door mechanism which should have eliminated the problems frequently experienced with the previous model, in my opinion, this patently was not the case. I am still awaiting a call to tell me when the service engineer has the new door which he said was required to return my machine to full working order.
From my point of view it is not acceptable to buy a new wasing machine and after 10 weeks of ownership only be able to use it for 7 weeks !!
In my opinion this product is not fit for the purpose I purchased it for.
