Lange has been around for a long time now (Remember 'Drifting Away' back around 2000), amazingly this is his first album (hence the title). The album itself got plugged a lot on A State Of Trance around Dec/Jan and Armin played a few of the tracks from the album there, this really got me interested and I couldnt wait for the release. ...stuff and one titled 'History'. A couple of the stand out tracks are 'Out Of The Sky' and 'Maybe Tomorrow', 'Songless' and the best track on the album (The best track Lange has ever made IMO) 'Another You Another Me'. As a massive Trance fan, Van Buuren specifically it is amazing that it took me so long to buy this album. I only purchased it a few months ago when I spotted it in HMV. £8 very well spent to say the least! The album has a good flow to it, starting with the beautiful 'Wall of sound' featuring Justine Suissa through to the absolutely immense title track 'Shivers'. In my opinion the best track on the album is 'Bounce back' which is done in colaboration ...
...the fantastic 'Mexico Can Wait' - one of the best trance tracks of 2007). Unfortunately compared to Armins other work there are 1 or 2 tracks on this album that are not quite at his usual standard, 'Golddigger' is one that springs to mind. When I first heard the song 'All Summer Long' I instantly liked it and initially thought it was a new band, however I found that Kid Rock have been around for donkeys years and this album Rock n Roll Jesus is actually their 11th album that they have completed with All Summer Long being the 3rd song on the album to be released. Kid Rock seems to be extremely popular in their home country of the States ...
...which is comes from. A Rock song that is quite likeable, with a great beat and good lyrics. Amen, the second track on the album starts a little bit more mellow with a acoustic guitar backing to start, eventually breaking into a mellow Rock song. ...off with the title track Imagine and going into 'Going Wrong' which is going to be massive this summer, all the way through the the beautiful 'Intricacy' at the end.
