Kanye West - College Dropout Album
Review of College Dropout, The [PA] - Kanye West by leekirk2

Advantages: Brilliant Music, Many Top Charts in One Album
Disadvantages: May Not Be Like By Older People

...Listened To Kanye West - College Dropout, I Was Totally Impressed with what kanye can really produce and make. with the favorite track "All Falls Down" massive hit that everyone likes. i have voted 5 out of 5 because... 1. lyrics are powerful and true 2. quality is amazingly good 3. the value for money will keep you occupied for many hours 4. originality, kanye has songs to his own. a voice to his own which know-one else has Kanye west is a ...

Wake Up Mr. West!
Review of Late Registration (Parental Advisory) [PA] - Kanye West by XICripZ

Advantages: As refreshing as the first album
Disadvantages: Unmemorable in comparison to "College Dropout"

The 2005 release "Late Registration" is the second album from the producer and rapper from Chicago, Kanye West. It follows on from the massively successful "College Dropout" which was an unexpected success from a newcomer, only famous on the Hip Hop circuit as a producer at the time. Here Kanye had to come with something huge in order to top to popularity of his debut album, which was able to cross genre boundaries as a refreshing sound in Hip Hop, ...
...style. 1. "Wake Up Mr. West" (Intro) 2. "Heard 'Em Say" Maroon 5's Adam Levine provides his soft vocals to this track in the way which only he can here, offering something quite unexpected of Ye at the time. Many don't acknowledge the depth of his lyrics here, and I haven't a clue why because they are powerful in how he addresses discrimination as a result of racism in modern society. **Four Stars** 3. "Touch the Sky" Everyone always says that ... Read review

Review of Graduation (Parental Advisory) [Digipak] [ECD] - Kanye West by JOY12345677

Advantages: loads of different and origanal songs
Disadvantages: nothing

one of the best albums ever with not a bad song. unlike some rap music this doesnt carry any heavy stereo types or go on about guns and crime. most of the song on the album are upbeat like "good life" which is fun and funky and pefect to bop to while your on the bus or driving. altough it is a hip hop album most people will find a song that they will enjoy as kanye west is known for his diversity. this album unlike some others flows well so is easy ... You Best Protect Your Neck Kid
Review of Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers) - Wu-Tang Clan by mrchriswill

Advantages: Groundbreaking
Disadvantages: Not Many

The Wu-tang clan Released this album to a mass critical acclaim back in 1993. At the time hip hop was all about the emerging west coast scene, with artists like Dr Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg dominating the scene. This was all about to change when the members of the Wu dropped this album. The album was produced by the Rza, a full time Wu-tang member and featured the rapping skills of the Gza, Ol Dirty B'stard,Inspecter Deck, U-God,Ghostface Killa,Raekwon, ...
...to use a compressed sound for beats and then add in some sound samples from old martial arts movies. These samples are a bit bizzare in places but I feel compliment the mood of the album(whick is pretty dark, by the way) very well. 36 Chambers also spawned the first hit for the collective C.R.E.A.M. or Cash Rules Everything Around Me, Which went on to introduce them to a wider audience. This particular track is often mentioned when "greatest hip ... Read review

Shaolin Style Succeeds Superior
Review of W, The - Wu-Tang Clan by bigdiship-hop

Advantages: Incredible Lyrics, Rza Production usually intact, Nas and Redman Appearances
Disadvantages: ODB is still MIA, Busta Rhymes, Too Much Cappadonna, Some Below Average or Horrible Tracks

I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about the Wu-Tang Clan and The W. A lot of people truly like it, but some hate it. Well im here to give you the truth about this album. You may remember the Wu-Tang's classic Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, well this is nowhere near like it, at all. But its not horrible either. Its a relatively good CD... well.. i dont got much to say with this intro since most people know these guys... so check out the review... ...
