Review of Ecover Washing Up Liquid

Not for me

Advantages: very green, no residue, reasonable price
Disadvantages: can't handle tough stains, clouds up glass after a few cycles

I often find Ecover products to be a bit hit and miss. For example, their fabric conditioner is lovely and works brilliantly but their washing powder just isn't up to the job. Same with these dishwasher tablets. Having finally got a dishwasher and being impressed in the past with the Ecover washing up liquid I thought I'd give the dishwasher tablets a go. For the plates cups etc. that were only slightly soiled the tablets did a good enough job, ...

Ecover might look bland but it's an impressive "green" cleaner

Advantages: Cleans effectively and is kind to the environment
Disadvantages: Probably not antibacterial, doesn't disinfect

Review of Ecover Multi-Surface Cleaner

For a Sparkling Bathroom

Advantages: cleans well, makes light work of dirt, CHEAP
Disadvantages: Leaves a smell on hands after use

Review of Tesco Bathroom Wipes

Calgon - limescale removal or washing machine destroyal

Advantages: It did rid the machine of odours!
Disadvantages: Think i've written about the disadvantages - how many more do folks need.

...just bought two boxes of calgon express ball thinking i'd be doing my washing machine a favour! Well, the first wash concluded with the all available orifices, even the soap drawer, in the machine pouring water over the floor. In order to absorb the water i obviously had to use several bath towels which had to be washed. Yet again the water has been spewing everywhere. Not sure if the limescale build-up was plugging up gaps or if my machine was ...
...using Calgon i had no problems apart from the odour which i was trying to get rid of - hence Calgon! Now it would appear that i have to replace my Candy washing machine - apparently its Calgon friendly. And i am reluctant now to use any limescale removal products on any item.
