How will you vote in the forthcoming General Election, and why?

When there's an election coming up, or something else of interest in the news, I seem to be constantly explaining to people that my politics degree is in theory and not current affairs. Nonetheless, I do have ideas on society generally and the democratic process - albeit generally in the abstract. As May 5th draws ever closer I'm sure I stand with a great number of the population who are increasingly sick and tired of television schedules being congested with party political broadcasts and the news covering nothing more than a select few bickering over who is right and who is wrong, who is lying and who is telling the truth. This is not a party political broadcast on behalf of the Liberal Democrats. I write not as a party loyalist but an uncommitted neutral, suspicious of all politicians and sceptical about their promises. Nevertheless, when General Elections come round the outcome is going to affect all our lives for the next four or five years.
