The Hozelock 2000, like all of the hozelock range is of exceptional quality. The version I have pumps 600 litres per hour and comes complete with foam filter and more than ample power-cord.
I have used mine now for about 18 months... and have found that it is virtually maintenance free.
If like me you thought that all garden pumps are the same, then you could'nt be further from the mark. I have found to my expense, that this just is'nt true. Before buying the Hozelock 2000, I had in fact purchased two other garden pumps, both of which burned out on me after several thousand hours of use. This, so the makers of the pumps told me, is just about the norm....but not so with the Hozelock 2000.
All I do now, is check the pond once every 48 hours to check that there is sufficient water.... and check the filter is clean, one a fortnight.With the Hozelock 2000, this is all that is necessary!
Another great thing about the Hozelock 2000, is the plethora of attachments that come with it; six different nozzles for different effects.
If your looking for a realy reliable pond pump, that has power (yet low power consumption) and opperates quietly,then this is the pond pump for you.
