You are reading about a submersible pump by Hozelock, designed to fit into your water butt, and provide a supply of water suitable for watering your garden. Simple idea, and a good one too. It will feed water with enough pressure to provide a decent spray. A very good idea in these days of hose pipe bans. I did a review on a drill operated pump, not a bad idea I thought, a cheap option, especially if you only have a limited amount to shift, although someone suggested that a drill operated pump is a bit of a waste, why not get a real pump? Good thinking, good point. I have baled out strip footings with a bucket before now, and must say any sort of pump is an improvement. A proper submersible one is ideal. Vax - rewriting the definition of "deluxe"

Advantages: It cleans what it is supposed to
Disadvantages: Poor design and quality

I've owned this carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment for nearly exactly two years, when purchased it was on offer at £69.99, currently £81.74 (RRP £149.99)at amazon. The first and probably most important thing I would say about this cleaner is don't pay £149.99 or you may be disappointed. At a lower price this cleaner was a good alternative to me to hiring a carpet cleaner - at the time I was moving out of a rental house and into my own house and so wanted to clean all the carptets myself, and this as I shall explain, the cleaner was able to do successfully, though I have a few reservations about this product, even at a lower price. Hozelock Garden Kneeler/Stool

Advantages: Many uses, indestructable, extremely useful
Disadvantages: Bulky for storage

I have had my Hozelock Garden Kneeler/Stool for more years than I can remember - at least 16 years but possibly quite a few more. I really don't know how I would manage without it. Moulded from weatherproof plastic it provides a padded kneeling cushion which is framed on either side with hand rails that provide invaluable support when standing up from a kneeling position - an aid which really comes into its own as the years progress!! The kneeler is not only invaluable when weeding and planting but when reversed provides a useful stool or even footrest. I find this particularly helpful when 'potting' plants and also a useful aid when painting the lower half of fencing. My son has also found the kneeler invaluable when laying slabs and block paving; indeed there are many occasions when we could do with more than one kneeler! Being made ...
